Your Day. Your people. Your story.
Your wedding day is full of moments worth remembering. The big ones, the little ones, the carefully planned ones, and the ones you never saw coming.
Whether you're planning an intimate ceremony, a backyard celebration, or a traditional wedding surrounded by your favorite people, I believe your photographs should capture more than just what everything looked like. They should remind you how it all felt.
While weddings aren't the primary focus of my photography business, I genuinely love the opportunity to document these meaningful celebrations. I take on a limited number of weddings so I can be intentional about the experience I provide and the couples I work with.
Below, you'll find everything you need to know about my approach, wedding collections, pricing, and what working together looks like.
Take a look around, and if it feels like we're a good fit, I'd love to hear what you're planning!
A Little Posed. A Lot of Real.
My photography style is bright, bold, and true to color. I love capturing beautiful portraits just as much as the genuine, in-between moments that make your wedding day uniquely yours.
I'll offer guidance during portraits to keep things comfortable and natural, while taking a more candid approach as your day unfolds.
My goal is simple: to capture the big moments, little details, and everything in between while allowing you to be fully present and enjoy your celebration.
Because your wedding day should feel like your wedding day, not an eight-hour photoshoot.
Let's Talk About Lighting (Because It Matters!)
One of the things I love most about photography is creating bright, colorful, true-to-life images.
But something that's important to understand about wedding photography is that no two lighting situations are exactly alike!
Unlike traditional portrait sessions, where we have more flexibility to choose our location, timing, and lighting, weddings come with a schedule and setting that are often already decided.
The time of year, time of day, weather, ceremony location, and even the direction you're facing can all impact how your photographs look.
outdoor ceremonies
Outdoor lighting can change dramatically throughout the day.
A ceremony in direct midday sunlight may have stronger shadows and brighter highlights, while a ceremony later in the afternoon may offer softer, warmer lighting.
The season matters, too! Sunset times change throughout the year, which can affect how much natural light is available for ceremonies, portraits, and receptions.
indoor ceremonies
Indoor venues bring their own considerations.
Window placement, overhead lighting, the amount of natural light available, and venue restrictions can all influence the final photographs.
Some venues are naturally bright, while others may have dim or mixed lighting that creates a completely different atmosphere. Certain venues may also restrict flash photography during the ceremony.
What Does This Mean for Your Photographs?
It doesn't mean your photographs won't be beautiful! It simply means wedding photography involves working with the environment and circumstances of your day rather than having complete control over every lighting situation.
I'll always use my experience, equipment, and knowledge of lighting to make the most of the conditions available. However, photographs taken in different environments may naturally vary in brightness, color, contrast, and overall appearance.
If photography is one of your biggest priorities, I'm always happy to discuss your timeline, ceremony location, and lighting ahead of time.
A little planning can go a long way toward creating the best possible opportunities for beautiful photographs!

FAQ
How many weddings do you photograph each year?
I accept a limited number of weddings each year, and every inquiry is reviewed individually. I consider the location, timeline, event logistics, photography expectations, and whether my approach is the right fit for your celebration.
Do you have a guest-count limit?
Not necessarily! Guest count is only one piece of the puzzle. The venue, schedule, coverage needs, and overall logistics are just as important when determining whether I'm the right photographer for your wedding.
Can we customize a collection?
The collections are designed to cover the most common wedding-day needs, but additional coverage or certain adjustments may be available depending on your plans.
Will our photographs look exactly like the images in your portfolio?
My editing style remains consistent, but lighting conditions can make a significant difference in the appearance of your photographs. The season, time of day, weather, venue lighting, and photography restrictions can all influence the results.
Do you help with wedding timelines?
Yes! My five- and eight-hour collections include photography-specific timeline guidance. While I'm not a wedding planner, I'm happy to provide recommendations to help you make the most of the time and lighting available.
Can we give you a shot list?
Absolutely! Family groupings, meaningful details, and important people are always helpful to know about. I welcome a list of priorities, though specific photographs cannot be guaranteed due to timing and circumstances.
Do you deliver RAW or unedited photographs?
No. Every delivered photograph is thoughtfully selected and professionally edited to reflect my style.
Can we print and share our photographs?
Yes! Your collection includes personal printing and sharing rights. Sydney Brynn Photography retains copyright ownership, subject to the terms of your agreement.
